Sarah Weeks has a knack for picture books that make me laugh. Better yet, they make my daughters laugh. One fun example: Mrs. McNosh Hangs Up Her Wash (Laura Geringer Books)
Because Sarah is also one of my teachers (an extraordinary one, by the way), I've seen a sneak preview of her latest picture book Sophie Peterman Tells the Truth!, due out sometime this year. It's equally charming and fun. You heard it here first!
